　　ＢＯＡＲＤ　ＷＡＬＫ
およそ「都市」と呼べる街が存在しないニュージャージーにあって、海沿いのボードウォークは街らしいストリートの様相を見せている。
ファーストフード屋、ゲームセンター、みやげ物屋、手相占い屋が軒を揃えているのだ。そんなボードウォークに、行くあてを失い、
エネルギーを発散できない若者が何となく集まり、ぼんやりと時を過ごしている。
そこには青春の輝きのようなものはカケラもなく、広い大西洋をまえに、学園祭が終わった夕暮れのような甘く虚しい空が吹き抜けているだけだ
このボードウォークはブルースの原風景となっていて、夜の暴走や女の子とのデートの想い出がたくさんあるようだ。
彼がボードウォークについて歌う時、そこには甘く淋しい光景がひろがっているのだ。
